ZIMASILK lists the fabric as 100% 6A grade mulberry silk at 22 momme. Momme is the weight measure used for silk: a higher number means a denser, more substantial fabric, so 22 momme is thicker than many lightweight silk scarves and pillowcases. The brand also lists the silk as OEKO-TEX certified.

Inside, a hidden pocket lets you add a filter insert if you prefer an extra layer. Filters are not included and are sold separately.
